People who term their porn "erotica" because there's no typical nudity or screwing drive me nuts. For example: "I only get off on watching girls bounce up and down on balloons, so it's not porn (even though I have four dozen videos and a hard drive full of pics of girls bouncing on balloons)." Well then, it's fetish porn. If it turns you on or gets you off, it's porn as far as I'm concerned, even if it's a brief scene in a "mainstream" movie or TV show that doesn't even register on any non-fetishist who's watching. Porn is in the eye of the beholder. :D

Because it is intended for mass consumption, not targeted at specific tastes. But when it's good, you really got something. Good erotica is an art, every bit as much as music or painting.

It does often get boring after a while though if I am watching a full length feature. Some things, not sex acts themselves, I find a bit disturbing. Like there was one where the man and woman had a fight after sex and he shot her. I didn't want to see the rest of the movie after that.
Some porn movies have excited me the entire time but no matter how good it is, I don't really like having sex while watching one with my husband. He does, but I find it distracting.
