Your self crafted epitaph ?
You're dying and you've a minute to jot down your last words. What
are they, so that if something happens unexpected, they'll be here
for you. Its really the last time you'll ever write something down,
and you can hear the nuclear sirens in the distance.

You type in a DU message for the next minute.

2. nuclear sirens?
I'd probably just laugh and say something like, "Payback's a bitch, eh?"

When I saw your title, I thought you meant an epitaph like a thing to put on a tombstone??? Mine will say:

"I wish I would've written faster. So many words, so little time."

That is in my will.

7. I would like to be cremated, but....
....on the other hand, cemeteries are such cool places that I like the idea of some kid a lot like me wandering around the cemetery, pausing at my grave, and wondering what I was like (something I do all the time). We have a magnificent, very old cemetery in my city. If, when I can afford to pre-pay for a plot, there's still room there, I'll definitely be buried. If not, I'll probably be cremated.

28. stop
In an otherwise fairly typical New England cemetery stands a tall asymmetrical pink granite stone bearing the outline of a flamingo accompanied by the epitaph—
“Won’t you stop and share a smile with me”

Knowing only that much about the lady beneath the stone makes me wish I had known her prior to her demise.

My epitaph? Unfinished, it starts—

“Dragged kicking and screaming down the highway of life…”
