But I'm glad to be back anyway! WOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I had to fly through ORD today, which was experiencing mega-major delays, so I was almost two hours late on my flight into ORD, which included approximately 1.25 hours waiting at the check-in line because Madison only has four windows for United (and like 400 people awaiting flights that were being cancelled and delayed). BUT, I DID get on a flight right away from ORD to LGA (that was nice, only had to wait about five minutes in ORD to get on the flight) but then United decided that my luggage would fare better on a later flight, so I'll see it sometime tomorrow. Thankfully, I was coming home, and not leaving for vacation, so it doesn't matter that I didn't have the luggage.

Friend of mine (also a DUer) just called me, and she's been on the tarmack at O'Hare for about 1.5 hours while they try to fix some stinking air fan (the ones that blow on your face), so who knows when she'll arrive.

Bad day for O'Hare.

It's been a long day of travel, and I'm heading - right now, after I hit post message - to pour me a martini, wash up, and try to get unpacked. Will see you all in about ten minutes.

But all in all at the end of the day the net net is that I don't feel bad about it. Just hoped there might be some, but the lack thereof does not merit any annoyance from me.

Because I had a great week! Can't really say why, but it was wonderful - though stressful - but wonderful.

(and BTW, I made those brussels sprouts I mentioned before for my sister and her family, and they all loved them)
