Who here remembers Fat Albert?
My favorite Cartoon when I was a kid. I always wanted one of those caps like Donald wore.

If you're not careful, you might just learn something before it's done.

5. The cartoon came later
Bill Cosby introduced Fat Albert in the 60's; I think I still have a couple of those old LP's.

I remember the buck-buck game where the contest was to see how many kids could jump on the pile before it collapsed. They built a ramp from Fat Albert's front door so he could gather speed; as soon as the Cosby gang's opponents caught a glimpse of his leg coming around the corner, they called it quits.

I think I remember Fat Albert was introduced with Bill Cosby's record "Why is there air?" - I'm guessing about '66 or'67.
Q. Why is there air?
A. Well, any physical education major knows that, it to fill up volleyballs.
Great material from such a young Cosby, boy those were the days.

6. From memory:
"I'm gonna sing you a song or two
and Bill's gonna show you a thing or two...
We'll have a good time, with me and all the gang
Learning from each other, while we do our thang

Na Na Na, gonna have a good time (hey hey hey)......"

I also know all the words to most of the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons.
