favorite Mixed Drink recipe?
After a 'fun' night for St. Patty's day, I thought I would bring up some alcohol related ideas. Here are a few of my favorites (nothing too exotic but good nonetheless):

Whiskey Sour
-2-3 oz of Whiskey (Jack D. is good and cheap)
-1/2 tsp sugar (also good to replace sugar with those crystal light -powder pink lemonade drink)
-1/4 lime
-1/4 lemon

Irish Car Bombs
-2/3 pint of Guiness
-1/2 shot of Jamisons whiskey
-1/2 shot of Bailey's Irish Cream
-(float Jamisons on top of bailey's in a shot glass; looks cool :) )
drop shot glass in pint and chug it quick

Margarita
-2 oz Tequila
-1/2 oz Triple Sec
-1 oz Lemon or Lime Juice
-ice

or

-equal parts Tequila and Jose Cuervo Margarita mix (for the really lazy and/or drunk; Margaritaville mix sucks)
-ice

3. My favourite mixed drinks!
Bloody Caesar

Rim a tall glass with lime juice and celery salt. Fill with vodka and Mott's Clamato juice, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and some hot sauce... Variations include horseradish, a dill pickle spear, or a small spoonful of smooth paste taco sauce. Garnish with the lime wedge and a celery stalk (or alternate). You can add ice, too, if you want, but I don't because it dilutes the Clamato.

Killer Cherry Coke

In a tall glass combine 1 can Coke with Amaretto di Saronno to taste. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and flavour with some maraschino cherry juice.

Blue Cthulhu

Combine peach schnapps and Faygo Bluepop. (It's a good day when you can get some blue food!)

10. I like Bloody Caesars.
I discovered them when I was visiting the b/f in Toronto. We went to visit some friends of ours, and some Bloody Caesars were served. I like the taste of them...the Clamato is a nice and different mix...instead of tomato juice.

It must be a Canadian thing, because I've never heard of them down here.

4. Musconovitch
Very rare, few bars have even heard of it.

Shot glass filled to the white line with a good quality cognac.

Fill the rest with Cointreau

Take a slice of lemon, coated with bar sugar--not granulated.

Down the shot, bite the lemon.

3-4 of these will knock you for a loop.

Tastes great!

18. Stevo's Texas Margaritas:
Fill the blender 3/4 full of ice. Pour Jose Cuervo tequilla in there until it is about 2/3 full. Add some triple sec(about 2 shots). Put in a lg can(or 2 small cans) of frozen lime-aid. Get the local cheap one. Minute Maid is too sugary. Blend on high until it is the consistency you want it. If it is too thick, add more tequila. If it is too thin add more ice. I don't use salt, so rim your glasses with it if you like it that way. I have never had a complaint on these.
