Has anybody seen Paranormal Activity yet? (Spoilers welcome)

Is it all it's cracked up to be, or is it a bunch of jump cuts and things jumping out and startling music? I'm guessing it sucks, but I want some informed opinions.

5. My son's friend, 14, has claimed to love (and hate?) scary movies

for quite a while. He's mentioned Stephen King and Freddy Krueger since he was about 8 years old. The night before last he was making plans for last night to go to see "Paranormal Activity" at six o'clock, go to bed at nine, and get up at 4:45 a.m. for their all-day band trip today... "I Hope I Can Fall Asleep After Watching The Movie!!!" He seemed to be enjoying the apprehension!
He had me so curious about it I googled "Paranormal Activity"and the trailer makes it appear pretty scary. It will be fun to hear what he thought of it when they get back tonight.
