Our Troops? Isn't Canada a sovereign nation any more? Our troops aren't in Iraq?

I've only been here a few months, but they are here...just like everywhere else. From what I hear it is worse out west, and I don't think they are quite as thick in Canada or as vocal, but they rear their ugly heads from time to time.

I figgered you were in the UK for some reason.

Maybe we'll be neighbors in the next few years. reprehensor lived there for almost 10 years, and if we move to Canada, that's probably where we'll go (we have many progressive, childfree friends and family there, otherwise we'd go to BC).

We'll have to have a coffee or a beer next time we come up. I love the James Joyce, and that nifty little veggie cafe/bakery off of 17th Ave. I forget the name.

22. When in school in '72, I had a history prof

who poo-poo the watergate break ins. I subsequently learned that he was the chairman for the local county repub. central commitee. So, I "outed" him in front of the class @ our next meeting. Boy did that wake up the students!... He still gave me an A, though!
