Poll question: I'm going home to WNY (Buffalo area) this weekend: Should I:
There was an article yesterday on Boston.com about how Buffalo's obesity rate is twice the national average (I always thought that people in WNY had a problem with obesity, didn't know it was that bad). so, should I join in, let myself go, and get some chicken wings this weekend (not the low-fat crappy version they're introducing to try and remedy the obesity problem). should i get a beef on weck? or should i be good and eat healthy?

p.s. I'm actually originally from the Buffalo area, not Buffalo proper:)

4. Buy a bucket of slippery nipples upstairs at The Continental.
Then throw it all up while whirling like a dirvish to KMFDM.

6. slippery nipples are a little too "fancy" for my tastes
but my college roommate loved KMFDM; 1/5 of his wardrobe (he had 5 t-shirts) was a KMFDM shirt.

7. To hell with it. Live a little.
I chose the drink Busch (not light) option. You've got me thinking I'll go out for some wings a little later, too.

8. that's the spirit!
i've tried wings in Boston, but I can't find a decent place (I hate being an "elitist" about anything, especially wings:). the best I've found is Buffs in newton. Their different flavors are pretty good, but their wings are scrawny (that's been my main problem; wings with no meat on them, maybe Buffalo's chickens are overweight too?)

10. Overweight people, overweight chickens
Hey, it gets cold in Buffalo in the winter time. You gotta have some insualtion to protect yourself against the forces of nature.

Yeah, I like my wings meaty, also.

11. I've been to LaNova's
never Duff's tho. I'm actually from about 60 miles west of Buffalo; almost PA, but not quite. But if I tell people where I'm really from, they never know (easier just to say "Buffalo") :)

12. If you're good the other 51 weekends, have the wings.
Just don't make a habit of it. :-)

I'm struggling to remember the name of the place where I usually went to get wings...
