Sometimes it is hard to tell intent since there are no non-verbals... or is it all in those devil icons? How do you tell silliness from flirting? Also a lot of people flirt and it is just fun. But then I may have forgotten how since I have been attached for so long and I don't fully understand all the online etiquette.

I just find the nature of online communication very interesting. My husband used to chat to people before the internet was popular ( he's a software guy) and I used to be amazed that he was "talking" to people in California. I just think it is so cool ( but odd) that you can talk to people you don't know and might not meet, so easily.
