WARNING ...FRAUD EBAY EMAIL
we just got an email, claiming to be from ebay, saying that an attempt had been made to log into our account from an overseas location. the email said if we were traveling we could ignore the message or click the link and verify our ID.

BIG FRAUD WARNING..the message came from a chinese isp and wanted our passwords etc.

if you receive such an email, forward it to spoof@ebay.com.

kick it if you care!!

we have never given our info to anyone but someone managed to hack our password and for about 15mins., had a blast buying shit. imagine the shock of logging into ebay and finding out you bought three 53 inch plasma tvs and assorted other trinkets totally some 63.000 bucks.

it was a pisser to clean up the mess.

2. I've gotten several of these from "Ebay". Also got some from
"Paypal" and "Bank of America". NEVER push a link and give important information to anyone. What I do is forward the emails to the appropriate company and tell them I suspect fraud. Everyone so far has been fraud.

Another thing going around is people signing up the elderly for the new Medicare perscription cards by getting their bank and credit card information. This is another scam. Pass it on!

3. I received one of these. There are also phony PayPal e-mails...
Take care -- they look to be very official and legit, but they are far from it.

NEVER click through on one of these e-mails if you have the slightest doubt.

Always to directly to the eBay or PayPal sites yourself, and make your inquiry.
