Long ago back home in CA, I found a rainbow flag decal that had been cut into the shape of the bear on the California flag. I thought it was SO COOL. Until people started asking me -- with unmasked derision -- why I had a bear on my car. I explained "it's the bear from the flag!" and they all said, "uh, that's not how it's meant...."

I took it off. But I still think it was a cool sticker and if I thought it was important enough I'd reclaim it!
