Robert Conrad Pleads Innocent in DUI Case

SAN ANDREAS, Calif. - Robert Conrad (news) pleaded innocent Tuesday to two felony counts of driving under the influence of alcohol for a car crash near his rural home in Calaveras County.

Conrad's blood-alcohol level was 0.22 percent when he crashed head-on into another vehicle, injuring the driver, according to a criminal complaint.

The March 31 accident occurred near the Sierra foothills town of Arnold, about 100 miles southeast of Sacramento.

This was during the time Bob Conrad was doing the "Ray-o-Vac c'mon, knock it off, I dare ya" commercials. Gabe Kaplan brought Conrad over face to face with Lou Ferrigno (who was playing the Hulk on CBS). Gabe put a block painted with the NBC logo on Conrad's shoulder and dared Ferrigno to knock it off, which he proceeded to do with a flick of his finger. I remember Conrad looking pissed as he stared into Big Lou's chest.
