My s/o's phone (an LG something-or-other- I don't know the model) did something I've never seen or heard of this morning. He powered it on, and a bright yellow screen with "Emergency Download" came on. And it stayed like that- lit up and everything. He ultimately had to take the battery out and reset it that way. Now it seems to work.
Anybody seen this before? More curious than anything else...

download for certain phones/carriers. I saw some forums elsewhere on the net where people couldn't get their phones to work that they were stuck in that emergency download mode.
