I'm on my fourth cell phone; it is a Motorola something-or-other. I don't know the model number.

You?

that's including a temporary pre-paid phone I had to use after I had a cell phone stolen. Current phone is the iPhone 3G.

2. I want the iPhone, right now I have a freakin Razr
as soon as I can swing the 30$ bump to the plan that comes with the iPhone, I just may get one.

5. 4 or 5. Somewhere around there.
This is what I have now...

A Blitz from Verizon. It's not a bad phone. Not super-awesome, but not bad.

6. 2 Tracfones
1 Nokia, 1 Motorola.
cost me $10 and change per month each. Makes calls, receives calls-that's all I want out of a cell phone. I don't want or need texting, games, music, downloads, etc.
They do what I want and so far they've worked everywhere I've been in the US.

7. Three.
I had to get rid of the first one when Verizon went digital. The battery died on the second, and it was more cost effective to just get a new phone. I'm still using the third. It's outdated, but it meets my rather meager needs.

10. I'm not sure how many
I started with one of those huge, clunky Motorolas. Had a couple of others along the way, a Blackberry Pearl which I hated and now I'm back to my Razr.

Though as a kid, I had a couple tin cans with string. You couldn't use it to shoot video, but it took stills.

15. I''ve had three so far
They've all been prepaid Kyoceras; the last one was a flip phone w/ camera.

I let it expire because I was broke.

Not sure what I want next. :-)

both the cheapest "giveaway" phones they offer at AT&T. The current one is an LG that the employees at the store try to convince me is a "piece of crap" that I should upgrade immediately, but it has been working for 5 years now.

17. the giveaway LG was my last phone
had it for three years and it worked great. I dropped it numerous times and it kept on ticking. It was only my need for a blackberry-type phone that led me to dump it for the iPhone.

The first "cell" was indeed a cell but wired into the truck. When the phone rang & I was out of the truck the horn honked. Sounds lame, but was very useful. Since then, a huge flip (too big, but that's what the technology had on offer), a smaller flip (OK), a mini flip (TOO small) and I currently use the LG 8600. It does far, far more than I want. I tend to use only the phone, daytimer, alarm, GPS, and almost never the MP3 player, Internet access, video camera, who knows what else.

Reviews on it I've seen are mixed. The most common complaints tend to be that the speakerphone is quiet (I have in fact never used that feature, not my style) and it attracts fingerprints. I prevented that by buying a black leather case.

Apparently it has or had a reputation as a fashionista phone. I love it.
