World Cup draw thread
Because this is a pretty international board, I thought we should chime in as the draw happens. If past performance is any indication, good ole' USA will be placed into what convential wisdom calls--- the group of death!

That's ok. Our chances of going through are pretty small--at least with Bob Bradely in charge. So I'd rather be dispatched quickly. That we there is absolutely no discussion about keeping Bob around for another four years-- wherein we actually might have the talent to do real damage in the 2014 cycle.

6. Feel bad for SOuth Africa. They got hosed SO gloriously hard it isn't even funny.
Ah well. Mexico and Uruguay FTW. Fuck the French cheating bastards. I want them to lose every game 847-0, and to be ran out of the country tarred and feathered.

Except Henry. He'll be retained as Winnie Mandela's BDSM plaything.

7. This is a mild shock
USA actually has a chance to go through. Likely no points against England, but the other two games are winnable. It all hinges on injuries and form of key personnel. Because the coach is in over his head, people like Donovan and Dempsey and Altidore and Spector must play the games of their lives. Even if we get through, we probably flame out because the coach will not use or underutilize the 12-16 guys in the group stage; hence, the key guys in the top 11 will be spent by the knockout round.
