except Wesley, Tasha, and the medical officer from the 2nd season. (i couldn't stand her from the TOS and i couldnt stand her in TNG)

8. TNG had three characters that defined the human experience...

... and only two of them were human. Picard is a prime example of what every human should strive to be. Worf is the personification of the angst felt when torn between two worlds. Data is a personification of striving to understand existence.

All three were incredibly complex characters that far outshined the rest of the cast.
