Aloha, this is Kekoa with the report for Saturday morning at 7:30 AM.
SURF:
20-25 ft.
4-5 times overhead with occasional 30 ft.
and fair to good conditions.
This Morning's Surf Report: Large WNW swell is washing out most spots in the country today. The only real rideable waves will be found at Waimea and the outer reefs. Surf heights are easily in the 18 to 20 foot face value range with some sets topping off at 25-30 feet. The outer reefs are seeing some larger sets as well so use extreme caution if you are entering the water today. Light trades have returned making for typical side to offshore conditions for country shorelines.
SATURDAY: Large NW groundswell peaks, strongest in the morning hours. Expect outer reefs and select deepwater breaks to hold surf easily in the 20-30'+ range on the face. Standout reefs produce larger sets on occasion up to 35-40'+. Most other breaks of the North Shore will be washed out. Wind conditions will be good.
*Lots of water moving around with very heavy/dangerous surf across the North Shore. Expert surfers should exercise extreme caution.
