Missing man found in pub

A TASMANIAN man "missing" for two days has been found – drinking in a bar and oblivious to the search.

Michael Craig, 45, reported missing by his travelling companion who had last seen him leaving the Lyttleton Hotel at 2am on Friday.

He was spotted at another bar about 4am, but police launched a land and air search on Saturday amid concerns for his safety.

Late on Sunday, police found him in Cokers Bar in Christchurch 12km away.

"He's gone through the tunnel and he didn't want to go back to Lyttelton apparently," a NZ Police spokeswoman said.
