1. Interest varies among kittehs.

Of my four, one goes absolutely bugfuck, and will exhaust herself chasing the dot. A second plays eagerly for a while, then gets bored. A third hunts the other two as they hunt the dot. The fourth takes little notice, only turning her head if the dot zips right past.
