About ten years ago, I was dating a guy who loved to go fishing. So, for Christmas that year, I bought him a nice name-brand fishing vest and stuffed all those little pockets with every imaginable lure, sinker, hook and/or accessory I could find. He absolutely loved it! And he said that it was the best gift any woman had ever given him.

This year, my man is getting a selection of hand-crafted micro-brewery beer, and a book on beer making. :toast:

4. I usually like to get men

what the individual man is into. For my husband that's books on gardens and art. For one ex it was fishing gear, another liked cologne.

Do people really select gifts "for men" and "for women"? I usually try to get gifts I think people will like based on their interests and personalities... :shrug:
