Homeowner Catches Man Trying To Get In Through Doggy Door

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested for trying to enter a central Florida home through a doggy door.

According to an Orlando police report, a homeowner spotted Sean Adam Steigerwald trying to enter the house through the dog door late Wednesday night. Steigerwald intially left, but the homeowner saw him on the property again about 10 minutes later. The homeowner then called 911.

According to online jail records, Steigerwald was booked into the Orange County Jail on Thursday and charged with charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Bond was set at $5,000.

A message left at the Orange/Osceola Public Defender's Office was not immediately returned.
