1. go run your specs on the Belarc advisor
It's at the crucial memory site. Just run it in Google and you'll find it. It's free and will run an entire scan on your system and tell you everything about it.

6. I'm not sure yet...
My unemployment has run out and I can't find a job here,so I'll have to go somewhere else where maybe there's a chance. It's just the way things go in Bush's America:)

ok being in the computer business you should list the following

the maker of your computer and model in this case a Dell Dimension 4550.

list the hard drive size, the operating system , amount of RAM installed, pentium version and speed. Front side bus speed if known (considering what was listed on the initial post it probably is a 533Mhz). also list the video card and sound card (if known and not onboard, ie a creative sound card, Nvidia video card)

also i would highly recommend you clean the hard drive up of anything you installed or put on (documents, programs etc) . the best bet would be to reformat the hard drive. i believe dell gives you disks to reinstall the O/S and related drivers. might take a bit of work, but would insure that nothing you put on remained.

as far as the monitor goes. take a ruler and measure from corner to corner to get the size (for a flat panel measure just the screen, for a CRT measure about an inch out side the screen)

you can actually probably sell the items seperately, as most people that are buying a computer, probably already have a monitor. make more money by selling it seperately to someone looking to upgrade theirs.

most of the other information you listed is not really needed to sell the computer.

hope this helps.

peace

8. Nice system!
Just to give you some idea, your system is selling for about $700 on Ebay.
