Am I the only one to notice that different alcoholic drinks produce different kinds of intoxication?

For instance, I tend to be mellow and friendly when I drink beer.

I get weepy and maudlin if I imbibe gin.

Tequila just makes me a combative asshole.

Scotch has an interesting two-tiered effect. At first, I get thoughtful, contemplative and deep. Too much, and I get worse than if I drink tequila.

Anyone else experience differences like this?

I drink beer, wine and whiskey.

Whiskey does me in....I have to be really careful with it.

vodka: fearless
wine: can't keep a secret and kinda slutty
tequila: crazy for a bit, then asleep
beer: an intoxication I can control, somewhat
champagne: giggly

the only thing that makes my clothes fall off: valium, no other benzos. I found this out through a number of prescriptions

12. I've posted about this before....absolutely right

for some reason, I have trouble with rum, it just makes me silly and out of control. Gin and tonics I can drink till the sun comes down, but man do I pay for it in the morning...

I can drink scotch with no problem....whiskey like Jack Daniels makes me want to vomit, though
