2. Great song, but no, rock 'n roll has continued in various forms...
...some very good, some not so good. It is stale at times, then, it surprises.

3. 1967 to 1969 was more of a shift in perspective for R&R rather than an end of the progression.

Many new genres formed and took of from the music produced in those day. As Robeson said, some good, some not so, but it certainly kept progressing.
