Need help ranking these PS3 gift recommendations

My friend's sister wants to buy a Xmas gift for her brother and asked me for advice.

I figure these are safe bets. How would you rank them as gift choices?

Fallout 3
Bioshock
Killzone 2
Resistance or Resistance 2
Dragon Age: Origins


My friend will not have anything to do with Modern Warfare 1 or 2 so does that disqualify any of the shooters? He really likes Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the replay value, so does that favor Fallout over Dragon Age? How good a gift is Bioshock?


Online play is not an important factor but value relative to cost and replay value relative to cost are.

1. There's a great new game called "Pac Man".

2. Both Fallout and Dragon Age have a lot of replayability.

Dragon Age, in particular, boasts about six separate game experiences, depending on the player's choice of race and class. Fallout 3 also has a lot of replayability, simply because the world is so huge you really can't complete every quest in a single playthrough.

The Resistance games are good FPS (First-Person Shooter) titles, with an interesting storyline to give some depth to all the gunplay.

Bioshock is an excellent story, with a real 1930s Deco vibe and some genuinely creepy moments, as you explore a utopian techno paradise gone wrong.

I haven't played Killzone, but the reviews were positive.

If I were buying, I'd probably go for:

Bioshock
Fallout 3
Dragon Age
Resistance 1/2
Killzone.
