I got dumped last week - who does that shit right before someone's birthday, which is Wednesday? - and am just feelin a bit low. I mean, I've come to peace with it and even with my ex, and am not even mad just disappointed and a bit lonely. Blech. And cynical. And more than a bit foolish.

Anyway, on the bright side, it's good for my muse, so to speak, and my friends have all been very supportive, and I am very thankful for that, but it still sucks, especially because we (theoretically) got along pretty well.

On the other hand, it's kind of exciting to be single again; ok, I may be bullshitting myself a little on that one at the moment, but I know I am the type of person that is not really going to wallow in stuff. I prefer to experience the emotions and get over them, but. yeah.

I do feel a lot better today and am more at peace with things.

We at least split on positive terms, and all of my friends have been really supportive. There are still some loose ends and conversations which need to happen eventually, but... c'est la vie, non?
