Video Game player ? I need your advice.
I'm a tech, MCSE and all that crap but when it comes to games I am a new newbie. The last game I played was Myst.
I love that type of puzzle game ... (I think) they're called adventure or role games?...not into the bang, bang stuff.

Anyway, my Computer is fully capable of just about anything...Asus board,,,quad processor, geforce GT 240 1 gig card...8 gig ram.

So...What would be a good starter adventure game for me to try.. ?

Thanks much!

1. Adventure games? Hmmm...you can pick up the latest Sam and Max games for PC...
also, there is a collection of a whole bunch of King's Quest games you can buy.
Also, the games 'Scratches' and 'Amber: the Journeys Beyond' are good creepy adventure type games.

2. Thanks. My son used to play doom and such but I found it to be not my style.
...aside from the fact I would most likely suck at it....

3. Runescape or WoW.
Wow is more popular and more expensive. I play Runescape and love it.

5. Although it's not a standard video game,
I've often been intrigued by this one, The Wild Divine, since it attempts to help you advance in ways other than "game levels" ;)

6. RPGs are fairly varied and impressive these days
Some are more combat-oriented than others (to say the least), but there's a decent amount of options out there. I'm not that familiar with the last few years' options, if just because I don't have a powerful enough system to even read the sysreqs on the back of the box most times.
