Man reported for parole check with crack pipe in his pocket
http://www.newstimes.com/news/article/Police-Man-reported-for-parole-check-with-crack-289511.php

DANBURY -- A 65-year-old man was arrested Monday on drug charges after he allegedly reported to his parole officer with a crack pipe in his pocket.

James King reported to his probation officer about 4:30 p.m. Monday for a routine visit to the Main Street office, according to a police spokesman.

His probation officer searched his vehicle because King had failed several drug tests recently and police had information about him dealing drugs in the Spring Street area, police said Wednesday.

During the vehicle search, his probation officer found a magnetic hideaway box, which contained five crack cocaine rocks and a crack pipe with residue in it, according to police.

Police said King also had a crack pipe in his pocket.

He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack.

King was released after posting a $5,000 bond. It is not known at this time when he will be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court.

2. I can top that. When I worked as a civilian for the local PD.....
We had a kid come in to try to get his dad's company car out of impound. Seems the boy had gotten it impounded tha night before for driving on a suspended license.

The kicker? When he came into the cop shop he was on a meth high.

He seemed a bit twitchy to me when I was talking to him, so I called out a detective to check on him. The kid was in cuffs inside 30 seconds.

It takes a special kind of stupid...
