"I'm Danny Crane." Anyone catch 'The Practice" last night.

Priceless. Possibly the best episode of any legal-drama TV that I have ever seen.

Shatner was great as the eccentric Danny Crane. And the sexual tension between Spader (Alan Shore) and Rhona Mitra (Tara Wilson) was mesmorizing.

Did ya see it? Whaddya think?

1. LOL....but in the courtroom he BECOMES Danny Crane.

I missed the last ten minutes dammit. Verdict on the cop puncher?

2. Guilty.........8 years!!!!!

The judge passed sentence right after the verdict was read. He said..."Dissent can not be tolerated......8 years!!"

Then Elenor looked at the accused and said...."There's no way that will stand. We will appeal it immediately. It's almost as if the judge wants us to appeal........" Then the light bulb went on an she looked at the judge who nodded to her, and she nodded back, as in...

"You know what you have to do"

So the judge only gave her an extreme sentence so that the case would get some publicity......and the madness that is "First Amendment Zones" and "False Patriotism and Dissent" would be exposed.

A great episode.

I've only begun watching this series since Spader joined the cast. If it's true that 'The Practice' has been canceled and a spin off for the Shore character is in the works, well, I guess the future of the firm is obvious (or maybe not).

4. I couldn't remember if it was Denny or Danny.

I googled it this morning and the links I found were equally divided between Denny and Danny.

That's what got me confused.
