avatar 3d - worth the extra bucks - a beautiful movie
even if you see the 2d, a 3 hours well spent
and a strong message against "shock and awe" militarism, occupation, and corporate greed

loved every second of this movie!

1. A strong message against corporate greed?
With a budget over $200 million? :eyes:

5. It was close to $500 million
With another $100 million spent on advertising. I hope they go broke.

2. I completely agree - it was a great movie to watch in 3D
And there were also some pretty progressive messages about race relations and environmentalism. I'm surprised that the freepers aren't completely against this flick.

I agree.

The 3D version is a must imo.

4. i plan to see it a couple more times at least...
but i spoiled myself with the 3d imax, and i don't think that i'd be willing to see it in a lesser format at this time.

6. Loved the movie
Hated the piss-poor 3D at the local theater. It was so bad half the room walked out. We got tix to the 2D version and the price difference back. Thinking about going to see the IMAX 3D.

7. What are the 3D glasses like?
It's always a pain for me to wear them because I wear glasses.
