Just like to say The Lounge is the best non-political forum on any board

I know of. I check out a couple of other progressive boards, and one thing that always lets them down is that their Lounge equivalents are pretty woeful. Here in the Lounge, we have some of the best wits and satirists, most knowledgeable music and culture posters, and a whole universe of other deeply cool people. You lot rock!

4. I like the lounge because most people have a great sense of humor here.

People accept people for what they are here. There aren't many pissing contests that happen here. (Because most people realize here that the only thing that happens in a pissing contest is that everybody gets their pants legs wet).

I like the lounge. We're nice people here.

The 1% goes to my what would have been my otherwise intact (albeit much colder) heart for allowing myself to get too close to someone in this place when neither of us were in the position to get close. :(

However, I like it enough that I'm still here regardless. I post on the other forums here, but much more minimally. Sometimes it's just nice to hang with like minded people talking about deep and interesting stuff and silly, dumb stuff too.
