I do, clearly.

On edit - Apparently it may have only been shown in the UK and Australasia.

1. Sure do
That was one weird show. I was pretty young when it was on TV, so I can't remember what happened in any of the episodes, but I can remember Monkey, Pigsy, the dude who was a sea dragon or something, and the androgynous monk.

Monkey used to fly around on a cloud. Good stuff.

3. It seems that it was all based on old Buddhist texts.
Mind you, I was about seven, so all I knew was that it was cool that he was born out of a rock.

4. It's based on "Journey into the West" (Or is it the "East"?)
Same source material as Dragonball.

It was played here in the USA in a few select markets, but mine was never one of them. I hear you can get copies at local comic shows.

5. That was on in Canada.
"Journey to the West" was a European (I think) animated show based on old Chinese legends. The monkey king, a trickster and sorcerer, is charged with protecting a monk as he journeys to India to retrieve a set of scrolls written by the Buddha. Teletoon used to air it in syndication, but that was years ago.

A bit more recently, there was an anime show (called "Monkey Magic" in English, IIRC) based on the same legend. The animation was good, but the story was pretty lame.

6. That's a new one to me
I've seen stuff from Turbo Ranger, Super Jockey, and a few other goofball Japanese shows, though, along with a hefty dose of 90's anime - I'm a sucker for both Akira and Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro). I even have the soundtracks for both.
