(I'm actually an Industrial Revolution technologist)
I have a Lenovo laptop W7. I use a USB mouse with it. Is there some easy way to dosable the touch pad as I often suddenly find myself typing in a different part of the page having accidentally brushed the pad.
Thanks!

1. On Windows 7: Control Panel |
|
--> Mouse --> Click on "Advanced" tab --> Click on "Advanced feature settings" button --> Click on "Others" tab In "USB Mouse Connection" box, select "Touch Pad is automatically invalidated"

3. My HP laptop has a small button above it that does that. |

It takes enough pressure to toggle the setting that I've never accidentally changed it.
