Round 2 is done I almost passed out during the IV stick
the lady was really nice, but she kept commenting on my veins rolling. That was all it took. The room went fuzzy and I got really hot for a few minutes.

The ladies were great tho and one started fanning me, another got a wet cloth and then they helped me do some breathing and finally I felt normal.

AFter that, the infusion part was simple. I took a book and finished it and napped a little. During the middle, they gave me some OJ and some crackers because my blood pressure got pretty low. I told them it was normal for me when I was in pain. They were a little shocked at how low tho.

BUT now it is done until mid Jan.

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts.

1. Good to hear that it went reasonably well
Hope you get to go back to the same place for your next infusion, for continuity's sake. Take care.

2. My dear greenbriar!
Ah, I'm glad you survived and are done till mid January...

Hopefully, the next time, you will have the same people, and they will remember not to say anything about your veins rolling...

Have a Merry Christmas!

4. yes, I get to go back to the same place
and they documented in my file that I was a "hard stick"

I think I was pretty nervous over all and that didn't help.

5. My wife is a hard stick, too. They have to bring in a surgeon at times
to cut to a vein.

It's in the past now.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday and much better new year.

9.  I'm glad so much is improving in your life.
Try not to let those 'sticks' get you down, it sounds like they are helping your condition!

and have gained 4 lbs.

my next one is scheduled for mid Jan. I won't be so nervous (I hope) and the same lady will be doing the stick so I think it will be better.
