seasonal flu shot and 2 kids got both shots and one went back the next day for a blood test! Two kids are working and three at college, but somehow they were all missing one shot or the other or both and our GP is glad to do walk-ins. They are all in the high risk age group and I've been dealing with asthma all winter so I figured we all qualified for H1N1.
So, how does your family celebrate Christmas?

1. I'm surprised that they administered the seasonal and H1N1 shot at the same time. |

The forms we filled out indicated that there should be a four-week time span between flu vaccinations. Obviously it's no big deal, though, or they would have made your kids wait.
In any case, to your good health and that of your kiddos! Merry merry to you. :)

2. It's either get them together or wait a couple weeks so the immune system can respond. |

The seasonal flu shot itself has several strains in it. The H1N1 would have been in the seasonal shot if the scientists could have gotten all the info they needed before production had to start.
