They use real cane sugar in their sodas. If you want something REALLY special, try the ginger peach.

And, it's available elsewhere, including here in South Carolina, fortunately. It's a bit more affordable than Blenheim's, which I highly recommend, especially if you like your ginger ale really spicy.

7. Heid's Ginger Beer

Of Liverpool(NY), is the best I ever had. I have had some of the others listed, but they don't compare.

The Schweppes and Canada Dry "ginger" ales don't even taste like ginger. They just taste like pee-colored Seven-Up. Reed's tastes like GINGER!!!

I had Schweppes and it was very good. But of course there, Irnbru was the drink. Here in the states
I had to go with Vernors. Its strong, and bites your tongue. I like that! I would love to try the others
you suggest, but Northern California's Saveway does not have the best selection.

Vernor's was the gods's nectar.

Warm summer afternoon, back yard, Stan's Polka Hour (WJR) on Mom's kitchen radio, the Old Man mowing the front yard, scent of the butterfly bushes and a Vernor's and vanilla ice cream sundae. Produced belches that would rival the iron ore freighters in Saganaw Bay.

Ah to be young again in Michigan.

37. I have a bottle of Fever Tree Ginger Ale I haven't opened yet

But if it's anything like their tonic water and bitter lemon, I know it will be great! I bought a friend a bottle of Gosling's Black Seal Rum and a pack of Ventiman's Ginger Beer, and the Dark & Stormy's that resulted from that were akin to Nirvana!

I usually look for sodas without HFCS, and Old Dominion is easy to find around here. Whole Foods 365 brand sodas are also fantastic for the price and are made with real sugar, not HFCS.

By the way, the Goya Ginger Beer gets it kick from all the capsicum they put in it, not ginger. Fun to drink sometimes, though it's HFCS sweetened.

There's something about the products made with fruit juices, the flavor turns me off.
