I wish I knew where the camera is, because right now there's huge snowflakes falling, and no wind whatsoever. It rained all weekend, and now it's just cold enough to snow. :loveya:

4. Ha! The Wiley and Excellent One is up at my mother-in-law's place,

snoozing by her radiator. He likes to drop in on her once a day: walk around and see what food she has out for her cats, inspect her knitting wool and see whether any of it needs to get tangled up and stretched from one end of the house to the other, test all of her throw pillows for quality and comfort. And then, if she's really, really, really lucky, and strokes him with lotion on her hands ("Opium" is his favorite...since it's a scent he'll NEVER enjoy at home :puke: ), he'll grace her with his regal presence for a couple of hours by taking a nap on her most prized throw pillow. :rofl:

The hordes have enjoyed my time off, apparently, except for the parts where I wait til they're asleep to trim their scimitar claws. :P Plato in particular sounds like an armadillo, clicking all over the place when he walks. It can't be comfortable, but he doesn't seem to care. Evie won't let me near her hands. :rofl:

3. We have the same magic going on here

I slept in (on vacation all week) and I was surprised to find all the roads covered with snow when I looked out the window. It's the big flakes coming down and the world is bright but quiet. I'm just about three hours south of Montreal.

This is the first decent holiday the s.o. and I have had in at least 5 years, and the weather's been mild and nifty. :) Today's light dusting makes everything look new and clean.
