That thing is hell cool. I played with it a little, it seems too oddly weighted to be used as a main hand attack, however, it felt like it might work alright as an off-hand parying weapon.

8. A company...

Asked us if we wanted to carry them in our produt line. I think it looks kick ass! But we'll probably stick with the knives in tins that they're offering.

Personally, I'd choose a club or a good quarterstaff over that. It appears unwieldy, doesn't really give you an advantage over range, and a sharp blow to either side of the blade could disarm you.

It's really just a variation of the katar, just clumsier and heavier. :shrug:
