I need help in finding an attorney

I've got a bunch of legal issues that need to be attended to. Do you go with your local attorney in your town and hope that he knows what he's doing or do you go after a bunch of attorneys in the fields you need help in? I've never hired one in my life...so this is totally new ground to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Contact the bar association wherever you're located

If you're in a small town, you might check the state bar.

If you can't find contact info, ask a librarian.

They're good at that sort of thing.
