1. HaHAH!1 But, if I may, my true, real gripe about UPS/FedEx
It's great for businesses, which have actual offices with employees there to receive the stuff.

But for persons at home who are in and out, it's a pain. Yes, I know there's a tracking method, but once the danged thing is on the truck, you've got to sit around and wait, and most of the time (for me) they don't get here till 6 or 7 P.M.

I'd prefer to pick it up at the UPS place, but I forget what the rigmarole is that you have to do ahead of time.

Hookay, hope I didn't barge into a thread that was going to be fun!1

2. Yeah, I know what you mean. You know what's weird? Arrival times. When I
order something, UPS/FedEx deliver it around 5:00 - 6:00 PM, yet when my wife orders something (even though she is ordering under my name) her stuff comes in around 10:00 - 11:00 AM. This isn't a hard-and-fast rule, but it happens much more often than not.

3. They shipped a small table I ordered a few weeks ago to Colorado-twice
It arrived to the UPS center in Lenexa, KS on a Friday. So I kept looking for it to come to Lawrence. The next time they scanned it, it was in Colorado! Then it came back to Lenexa, then went to Colorado AGAIN! I don't know what it was about that particular package that made it go back and forth like that. I'm just glad it wasn't something I needed in a hurry.

4. Wow - that's bad - I see that there is a Lawrence, CO, but that doesn't make
sense.

5. UPS keeps saying that our packages are rescheduled for
another 2 days later, and another, as if they tried to deliver our stuff and couldn't. But they have never been here to try to make the deliveries. They can't say that nobody was home when there is somebody here who has been homebound. So why haven't they bothered to deliver our packages?

:wtf:

Tracking information says our stuff has been here at the local shipping center for days now. So we are on the phone raising hell. We want our packages, damn it!

:grr:

6. I've had that happen to me in the past (but only one reschedule) - it's very annoying,
I empathize.

9. Provided the bank
Didn't go out of business... but if they had knowledge of the future they would have picked the right bank.

11. You'd think. Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I should admit that I
only posted the bank deposit comment because I failed in turning 'UPS' into a funny time-shift related acronym :)
