Poll question: Which is better: Grumpy or Grumpier Old Men
I watched Grumpy Old Men tonight for the first time in a long while -- I forgot how funny it is. I've been watching, when I do, Grumpier Old Men because of Sophia Loren. But the original is hysterical....

Putz! Moron! What a pair those two were!

1. I Didn't Vote
It's a coin toss. Like "Godfather II", the sequel lives up to, and almost surpasses, the original.

2. In this case, I completely agree.
Others are Shrek and Shrek II and Toy Story 1 & 2.

Ox! Nag! Sophia Loren is so funny in the sequel -- and Burgess Meredith! I love the outtakes on both also. I needed a good laugh last night and sure had it!

3. I've become a Grumpy Old Man
How did this happen, I graduated high school in 1987?
And I miss it.

5. No kidding... I just saw three "older" ladies argue the way the Mattheau/Lemmon characters did
I was out shopping -- Dillard's had a big sale and, well, I tried to support the economy but didn't find anything I can't live without. Anyway, two of the ladies were bickering and the third, who looked to be older than the others said "you two girls stop it right now!" I cracked up laughing. They looked at me funny and I told them I'd watched the movie last night and they reminded me of Burgess Meredith upbraiding the other two. They also started laughing about the movie and we actually talked for a few minutes comparing it to the sequel. One of them pointed out that the three actors died within a year of each other.
