So I have to say, Beatles Rock Band is the most amazing game ever
Note: not an advertising attempt

My Mom bought me this for the Wii (yes, I'm pushing 40 and full of youthful nostalgia for the group I listened to in college, as the Beatles were still pretty big even in the late 80's) and since Christmas I would say it's been one of the highlights of my existence (along from my wife and kids of course). You jam along with John, Paul, Ringo and George and after a few beers and a few hours you can start feeling like you are the fifth Beatle. :-)

It's totally rekindled my love for Beatles music, to the point I'm now listening to their albums again which I had shelved and forgotten about for a bit. When you play "Revolution" and wrap up some complicated guitar sequences... all I can say is its better than sex.

It's really, really going to suck going back to work on Monday....

1. Yeeaaah, that's been on my list for a long time.
After I pick up Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Pokemon Heartgold, I'll be looking to get it.

2. It certainly is awesome, isn't it?
My 3-year-old loves it. My wife usually plays drums, I do guitar, and our son sings. (He actually managed a 12% on the Easy setting for "Eight Days A Week".)

The other day, he insisted on calling himself Ringo all day. I was John. I tried to get him to call my wife "Paul Revere and The Raiders", but no luck there. :)

3. The best video game to entertain a crowd of all ages
Over Christmas we had about 20 people in our house, ages ranging from 13 to 70+.

They were all playing and having fun.

You can have 6 players at a time with Beatles Rock Band.

People that weren't playing enjoyed watching.

Most other video games we know of you can only have a couple players at a time and they're not that much fun to watch.

4. I'm 46 with 14, 16, and 18 year old daughters. They prefer OUR era video games! MAME is awesome.
Paperboy, Elevator Action, Burger Time, Ms Pac Man, etc. They'll play those for hours. I get to play too. Zaxxon doesn't have sound, but it plays the same.

They've played the guitar thing on Wii and got bored with it after an hour or so. A friend brought one over. They have no lasting interest in it.
