Your favorite fast food joint.
We have a burger joint here in Fargo called Culver's that has just AWESOME burgers and very good Blizzard-like ice-cream things called "concrete mixers".

4. I guess it's going to have to be Wendy's.
There aren't any "funky" fast food places in Bangor, Maine and I am a huge fan of Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. Man, I need to get over there some time soon.

8. Well yeah, but we only have the regular, boring chains up here.
I've been told that the gas station up the road is being converted into a fast-food Mexican place that isn't Taco Time but over here, there is nothing else. I eagerly await the opening. :)

58. I would also say Wendy's except that
they mess up the order every single time I go there. Inevitably there is something missing, or a wrong item, or whatever. They cannot get even the simplest orders right. Otherwise I think their food is decent for the fast-food category anyway.

6. A BBQ joint, but there's a twist.
.
Brushfire Barbecue, believe it or not, for their SALADS.
.
Best I've ever had anywhere. Baby greens, veggies to include
roasted corn cut fresh from the cob, 4 or 5 types of fruit --
including strawberries, mandarin oranges, and apples -- a huge
slab of garlic toast, a serving of your choice of shredded
cheese and barbecue meat (if desired). They only have one
dressing, and fortunately it's one of the best balsamic
vinaigrettes I've ever had.
.
As a young man, I was stationed in Germany -- a truly healthy
culture when it comes to libidinous issues, especially compared
to our repressive Puritanically-tainted upbringings (one of
Cliff Claven from Cheers' greatest lines was "Problems? I don't
have any sexual p-p-p-p-p-p-problems!").
.
As a group of young soldiers over there, in comparison to our
American-dwelling demographic, we didn't suffer very much from
frustration and involuntary celibacy, so we didn't seem to need
erotic dreams as a coping mechanism. One night, sitting around
a campfire, we somehow reached the point where we, almost to
a person, came out of the closet and confessed that our sensual
dreams were now all about the fast food that we could not get
(they just started importing McDonald's and other joints about
the time I left).
.
My personal "wet dream" was about Whoppers (you Freudians hush
yer mouths right NOW!!).
.
I guess my point is that we seemed to have discovered that, in
the hierarchy of needs and desires, fast food ranks up there
second only to sex.
.
And hell YEAH, I want fries with that!!!

19. Fingering Mom and Pop
Hi, crim son!
.
Kali's been asking me to join up here for a while now. She told me
that there were some similarities between me and a poster with the
name LeftyFingerPop -- so many that she thought I had snuck in and
was using the name as a disguise of sorts.
.
THAT was pretty funny... and I really liked the name, so I simply
riffed off his username to come up with mine. Thanks, LeftyFingerPop!!
.
Not sure how much consternation a man with a "Mom" username will
cause, but I think it could cause some hilarious "incidents" that'd
more than make up for any possible gender confusion. Keep 'em
off-balance.
.
You know how it is when you lean back too far in your chair and
almost fall backwards, but save yourself at the last second? I
feel like that all day --Stephen Wright
.
Who also said, "I'd KILL for a Nobel Peace Prize."
.
He's kinda funny.

though much more expensive, so I guess you can't compare. The last 2 times I've been to In-N-Out I've gotten dry, tough meat from them, so I think their quality control has slipped dramatically. The vegetarian burger at Burger Lounge is a revelation - better than any meat hamburger I've ever had.

60. I like their beans.
They use vegetable oil in their beans, not lard, so that earns them big bonus points from me. I live in the Big Avocado (San Diego) where there is a taco shop on every corner and a full-blown Mexican restaurant in every neighborhood, but the overwhelming majority use lard in the beans and the beans are almost always a disaster. You order beans and you get a puddle of lard with a few beans floating on it. At least Taco Bell uses vegetable oil and actually makes beans that taste good.
