The good news is "It will take one day to recover for every time zone...
covered whilst traveling."

The bad news?
I traveled through 12 time zones.

:-(

1. My dear Haole Girl...
That is correct...

1 day per time zone.

People who go right back to work after such a trip suffer awfully...just like you did...

Nobody ever leaves enough time to recover; actually, nobody has a long enough vacation so they can recover...

I'm sorry, sweetie...

2. Thanks
Sort of wish I hadn't read that.

I'm trying not to take sleeping pills which were prescribed. I'd hate to become dependent. Took 3 in the last week so I could get 3 night's sleep anyway.

How are you tonight?

Still feeling the shocks of Notorious' loss...

You WILL recover from your trip...

We Americans do not take long enough vacations...

Hope 'Notorious' is not all alone at a time like this.

And I pray she doesn't have to make the awful decision regarding life support, that doctors sometimes ask relatives to make. :-(

7. She's not alone; she's staying with her inlaws.
Monday she goes home to stay with her sister, who will be arriving then.

Apparently there were no tough decisions to be made. They could not save him, since the head injury was so awful.

He died today.

4. The Aging Process
.
I find the older I get, the more time it takes my body
to return to its "normal" state.
.
One day for every time zone? Pfffttt!!! I've reached
the point where it takes one day to recover for every
BEER I drink.

6. Yeah, my husband says it's age
I'm truly in shock, though, how messed up my sleep is.

Funny, about the beer. Considering the amount of Kingfisher I drank, since it wasn't safe to drink the water, I'm in double trouble!
