I'm feeling a bit weaker now but will not do it and I'm posting this because I need witnesses so that I won't fuck up and seek him out. Three years, people. I think it must be like quitting smoking, only more beneficial. :P

In many ways there seems to be no "otherwise" but it isn't true. I've been doing well... finished up my seasonal job, restarted my yoga, have been going out and meeting new people...

the 'otherwise' sounds like you're taking care of yourself and i'm glad for that.

i did get a ring; my husband really outdid himself with that one.

things are pretty good here. i go back to work monday after our two-week holiday shutdown, and although i've enjoyed the time off, the checking account hasn't x( but, having the time off also meant that i got to spend a lot of time with my best friend. she's been in germany for a bit more than four years now and it's been so wonderful to see her.
