And a belated Happy New Year!!

I hope you all had a good start into 2010.

I went out for dinner with a dear friend, then we went to the movies (a German movie) and then to an Irish Pub to greet 2010. And then we went home :) It was a very nice evening.

Now it is back to normal with work and everything. I am starting swimming again tomorrow. Also, I joined an international group who meets once a month to meet new people.

It's amazing, isn't it? We actually had it 6 hours ahead of NYC :P

The picture was taken in August last year. But I though the flowers and the sun would bring a smile on the faces considering the weather these days.

13. Actually, the snow is very

beautiful, but unfortunately we've been getting below normal temps which makes outdoor activities rather limited.

I'll be headed back to work after having 12 days off! Feeling a little ambivalent. :shrug:

But when it is melting ... yuck

I decided to take a week off in February. I still have vacation left from last year.

Oh, I know how you feel today. Even though I was working between the years I had my problems getting out of bed.

Didn't really have trouble getting out of bed, I'm typically an early riser no matter what. But right now I'm trying to talk myself into hitting the shower and getting dressed.

but my hair looks terrible in the morning, so I really need a quick shower to remedy that situation.

Unfortunately, once I wake up in the morning I'm compelled to get out of bed. I'm not one of those that can stay in bed. *sigh*

when you are able to start the day and are active. I am sometimes mad about myself that I am such a lazy bum. Oh well. Laying on the couch on a Sunday and reading a good book has its pluses too :)

off of work, I did my fair share of reading/couch laying. ;)

Lucky you, there is not enough snow here to cancel anything.

I took down the Christmas tree yesterday. Still need to put away all the other stuff. And Thursday the tree will be gone too. Christmas is such a nice time but also passes so fast.
