1. Now, I'm all tuckered out.

I've got some decades to go to catch up to them, but just
WATCHING them has me ready for nap-time.
.
Of course, I'm always ready for nap-time.
.
Nap-time is my friend.
.
I spoke to a woman recently in her 80's who is in some sort
of "American Tourist Ambassador" program started by Jimmy
Carter(?) who was going to Mongolia this year.
.
When I asked her if she rode horses (BIG on horses in
Mongolia), she told me that the year before in Northern
Africa, at the age of 83, she had ridden her first camel.
She said she had been sore for two days, but would do it
again without a moment's thought.
.
Truly inspirational.
.
And people wonder why I get so disgusted by "jaded" or
"(deep, uber-dramatic sigh) world-weary" 20-somethings.
.
Hush up, hipster-doofuses... you're just annoying the folks
who are in the moment.

3. I thought it was energizing

Made me want to go and get the sheet music for "Old Grey Bonnet" and start practicing with my husband. We've got a few decades to nail it. :D
