I'm in love with my leaf blower
I just used it to move about four inches of the white fluffy stuff from the walks in record time with no lifting. Go ahead, Mama Nature, snow away.

2. Me, too!
One of the best kitchen gadgets ever! Especially if one eats a lot of pureed soups as I do.

6. It is all kinds of difficult to clear the sidewalk with one of those.
Mostly, they just puree the snow.

8. It might only work well on the dry fluffy stuff.
This is lake effect snow, not the wet stuff from the south.

10. Our first snow here in WI was just a light dusting and it didn't work well
and I couldn't even get it to blow as well as the leaves which was a lot like trying to herd mice.

11. So, it's like, an 'improvement' over the 'rake'
for snow, that is?

12. Leaf Blowjobs
My brother-in-law, once-Prez of a Manhattan ad agency, very funny
very nice very bright, was also always one of the most awkward
"Home Improvement" klutzes I've ever known. If he did the least
little handyman chore around the house, you can bet that everyone
within two parsecs would hear about it. Several times.
.
Connecticut. Ivy-covered suburban home. Autumn. Deep-deep leafage.
Beautiful. He decided that he would take on the leaves himself
instead of hiring a neighborhood kid to rake them up. Rented a leaf
blower to make the job, ahem... a breeze. I can only BEGIN to imagine
the penultimate Buster Keatonish , the sheer carnage of, the helpless
falldown-inducing scene that followed.
.
End result: Deeply ivy-embedded leaves - so much so that he had to
hire THREE neighborhood kids to pluck them from the walls of his home
just so's you could see the ivy again.
