Farmville on Facebook is fragging addicting!
I have a nice orchard with a variety of fruit trees; I am growing artichokes, soybeans, and wheat; and have a cow, a goat, and two geese. :)

20. lol
says me, a level 402 Matoryj Avitoret.

They really should do a psychological degree out of this. All this button pressing is a bit Skinner-ish.

29. Don't you find it annoying that you're
ALMOST upgraded to the level and not enough energy points?

Methinks I need to go to MafiaWars Anonymous soon.

38. No doubt. I skipped Boss altogether.
Waiting to amass the 4,000 of each I'll need and level up enough to have 1500 energy for all the 1% jobs. On to Cuba and Moscow for me!

3. How does that work?
I seem to have acquired a farm by accident, probably from something someone sent me, but I have no idea how one plays the game. A friend keeps sending me a free animal and asking me to send her one in return. I don't think my supposed farm even has any animals on it. I haven't responded to her requests because I'm clueless about farmville and not sure if I want to get involved in another time-wasting activity or not. Can someone clue me in about farmville?

9. There's usually some type of currency, usually coins, that you earn with your crops.
And you can buy animals or someone can gift them to you. Part of the appeal and addiction of these types of games is figuring out the how to maximize your profits. Sometimes you can buy other types of bonus things for your farm, or island, or whatever game you play.

A relative "invited" me to join. I hate having to keep it up because I don't like games online. Besides, it IS boring!

8. No kidding..I was so upset when I didn't harvest my strawberries in time
and they wilted. Now if I know I'm not going to be around a computer within several hours, I buy the "grow in 2 (or 3) days" seeds!

14.  I'm a Farmville and Cafe World addict.
I've got to level up one more time in Farmville before I'll be able to get my next expansion. Then I plan on totally redesigning my farm since I have way too much stuff.

23. meh, it's not my favorite.
It takes too damn long to do anything on most of the Facebook games, plus if you want to do anything FUN you have to pay to get it. That being said, I play Vampire Wars and Sorority Life :D

24. I play too many games on Facebook
Sorority Life, Vampire Wars, Mafia Wars, Farmville, Fishville and Zoo World....mostly to help out my friends and my kids...however, when I get frustrated, I love icing people in MafiaWars and destroying girls in Sorority Life who attack me more than twice....fighting people via revenge motives can be very therapeutic!

37. I'm still playing plain 'Facebook' there.
It's a game where you have your own inner circle, like your very own secret society, and over the time, you add friends and become friends with long-lost people you knew once from some other time. Than you nourish them a bit, make them happy with status updates and wall postings, and keep a close eye on who their friends are. After a time, you start to defriend them, and friend the ones that also defriended them. Then you talk about them.

It's a fun game. It's like MySpace, but without the crappy music. ;)

Heh, there, I said it!

It's like Harvest Moon with pages reloading and people bugging you all the time. *Fires up ZSNES and plays the real McCoy*

I suppose it would be fun if it was coded as a Web 2.0 / AJAX application.
