The answer to the mystery of Abe Vigoda's apparent longevity (or is it immortality?)
Abe Vigoda is simply not that old. According to IMDB, he was born on my sister's birthday in 1921. So you're thinking "damn, that's pretty old." Sure, that's old now.

Here he is in 2003. For contrast, he's set here next to someone is young and vibrant and full of health and blood not in a powdery form.

So, yeah, at 82, he looks old. And here he is in 2008, and he's still lookin' pretty old. Note: dyeing his hair a vibrant amber did not bring the years back.

Ah, but... if you go back in time, Abe Vigoda should become progressively less old. Right? Right?

Here he is in 1979. He's 58 in this picture. Realistic?

And here he is in 1977.

1975. People, this is a 54 year old man. By way of contrast, I'm posing him next to a typical 55 year old.

Abe Vigoda is not aging. He was born looking 64 years old. Here he is in 1972, aged 51

It's been 27 years since Abe Vigoda was mistakenly pronounced dead by People Magazine. Make no mistake: this man will dance on your grave.
